Therapy & Classes

There are two ways to work with Soma Sessions. One-on-one therapy sessions for deeper, more personal work, and group classes for people who want to move, release, build endurance and feel better in their body without the pressure of a conventional workout.

1:1 Online Somatic Movement Therapy

These sessions are personal, paced around your nervous system and shaped by what's present for you that day. We work slowly and with attention, using movement, somatic awareness and the therapeutic relationship to work with stress patterns, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, grief, burnout, or trauma.

This is similar in some ways to talk therapy, but the body does more of the work. You don't need to be able to articulate what you're working through. The body has its own way of processing and we follow that.

All you need is somewhere quiet where you can move. Sessions are one hour and held online via google meets.

Soma SWEAT

Soma Sweat is a nervous system-aware somatic movement class that's fun. Think less "push through" and more "present and connected".

It's physical, breath-led and built around endurance and self-expression rather than performance. Throughout the class we tune into sensation, noticing what your body feels like from the inside as you move, which builds a very different relationship with exercise than most people are used to. You're not disconnecting to get through it you’re staying present.

These classes draw on somatic principles, rhythm and expressive movement to help you release what your body has been holding, without needing to know exactly what that is or why. You'll work up a sweat, feel your body move in ways that feel genuinely good and leave feeling lighter, more alive and more yourself.

This is the kind of class where embodiment stops being a concept and starts being something you actually feel.

Soma SOFTEN

Soma Soften is a slow, guided movement class rooted in Hanna Somatics. It works with the nervous system's role in muscle tension, helping the brain and body relearn how to let go of patterns of holding that build up over time through stress, injury and everyday habit.

If you regularly carry tension in your neck, shoulders, jaw or back, and stretching never quite fixes it, this class works at a different level. It's not about pushing through or releasing by force. It's slower, connected to the breath and people often leave feeling physically lighter in a way that's hard to explain until you experience it.

Classes run online and in person on the Gold Coast. A small number of spots are available in the current round.
